The Healthy People 2020 webpage titled, Access to Health Services, mainly describes the important of having access to health services. It also explains the 3 key components that makes access to health care so special. According to Healthy People 2020, they believe that having entree to quality health care benefits is crucial when it comes to advocating and controlling well-being, stopping and controlling diseases, compressing avoidable deaths that are premature, and accomplishing the goal of fairness in health for every American citizen (Healthy People 2020, n.d.).
